The topping makes an excellent fudge sauce to keep on hand for ice cream. Can be frozen to thaw and use as needed.
Experiment with the ingredients. For example, substitute Mint or Peanut Butter Oreos for Regular Oreos; substitute pecans for the peanuts and add a layer of caramel with the fudge topping to make a turtle dessert; substitute any flavor of ice cream for vanilla; etc.



1st Layer


  1. Combine topping ingredients in saucepan.
  2. Boil for 8 minutes stirring constantly.
  3. Cool completely.
  4. Melt butter for crust in 13 x 9 inch pan.
  5. Add crushed Oreos to butter and mix well.
  6. Press cookie mixture in bottom of baking pan.
  7. Combine ingredients for 1st layer.
  8. Spread 1st layer over crust.
  9. Freeze until set.
  10. Add topping ove ice cream.
  11. Cover and store in freezer.
